at the park and ride under 101. there used to water creeping up and back here, but this is higher than the usual high. king tides happen once a month when the sun and moon pulls are lined but these high tides are the highest of the year. the king tide coincide was big winter storms. water levels in some areas will be 10 feet above normal. they do recede quickly. with extreme low tides as well. sebastian figures his trees will not float away. he's looked up high tide predictions and planning accordingly. >> trees are still a foot above the water. i'm from holland and i know about water management. >> he is from holland and knows a little bit about water manment and will be putting that knowledge to use through friday. possibly saturday. then, again, the king tides return in mid january. >> we've been out and about today and the weather was spectacular. >> it's been cooperating. leigh glaser is here with a look at the accu-weather forecast it was touch and go this morning because there is a weak cold front moving through. lots of activity moved on out, colder air mass settling in. still

brings us right to dan simon. he's live from suburban portland this morning. what else do we know about jacob roberts? >> reporter: well, good morning, soledad. his name surfaced less than 24 hours ago so it's still a bit early in the investigation. but the things that you would typically look at, his family life, you know, where he works, his relationships, haven't seen really any obvious signs. investigators say they haven't found a criminal history, no violent past. so at this point things don't really add up. people have been trying to look at his facebook page, esee if there are any clues there. there is a piece of artwork on his facebook page saying follow your dreams. the word "cancelled" stamped over it. could that suggest anything? at this point we don't know that. there are these reports that he was planning to move to hawaii. he was telling friends that he inherited a bunch of money and had scheduled a flight to go there, but really no truth in that as best as we can tell. everyone we have talked to seems genuinely shocked that this happened, including an ex-girlfriend who ac

with us now on this case. >> 4 of the five suspects that were talked about in this case were inside the courtroom. they pled not guilty to the charges. one of the female suspects not nicknamed pocahontas had a black eye and badly bruised cheek bones inside that courtroom. the judge did allow our cameras inside but we did not show any of the four suspects. two were women and two were men. three of the four suspects are charged with mort murder, one accessory to murder. it is believe that the new the two victims and went to their house looking to c the male victim who died had his hands bound, then he was shot and the neck. the female victim who was still alive was gagged with a sock and down by her hands and legs. the district attorney did not give the motive here but did speak about the suspects. >> this is clearly very brutal. the bounding and gagging and shooting the individual and the neck. the female victim was severely beaten. they were dumped in the streets. they were trying to send a message to someone else. this is early in the investigation. >> one of the suspects tyler mil
